These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of sales pages, checkout flows, order bumps, upsells, and related buyer experiences powered by Afripay Sales Funnel (the “Funnel”). The Funnel is operated by Afripay Global (“Afripay,” “we,” “us”). By viewing a Funnel page or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
1. Role of Afripay
Afripay provides payment infrastructure, escrow, and platform tools. Unless we are identified as the direct seller on a specific offer, the merchant who created the Funnel is the seller of record for products and services offered on that page. Afripay is not a party to the underlying sale contract between you and the merchant, except where Afripay is explicitly named as the seller.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Funnel complies with applicable laws in your country.
3. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices, currencies, and availability are set by the merchant and shown on the Funnel at checkout.
Completing checkout authorizes the payment method you select (card, bank transfer, wallet escrow, or other methods displayed).
Where Afripay Escrow applies, funds may be held until delivery or access is confirmed according to the checkout terms shown.
Free offers, coupons, and order bumps are subject to the conditions stated on the page.
4. Digital, physical, and service products
Delivery timelines, refund rules, and support contact details are provided by the merchant on the Funnel or in post-purchase communications. Afripay may facilitate delivery of download links or proof of payment but does not guarantee merchant performance unless required by law or a separate Afripay buyer protection policy stated at checkout.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use the Funnel to engage in fraud, money laundering, chargeback abuse, harassment, infringement of intellectual property, sale of illegal goods, or any activity that violates Afripay’s acceptable-use rules. We may suspend checkout or withhold settlement where we reasonably suspect abuse.
6. Disputes
Buyer–merchant disputes should first be raised with the merchant using the contact details on the Funnel or your receipt. If you paid through Afripay Escrow or need platform assistance, contact Afripay Support with your transaction reference. Afripay may review evidence from both parties and apply escrow release or refund rules where applicable.
7. Disclaimer
The Funnel and payment pages are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afripay disclaims warranties regarding uninterrupted access, merchant content accuracy, and fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability is limited as set out in Afripay’s main platform terms at afripayglobal.com.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms for the Funnel from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
This Privacy Policy describes how Afripay Global (“Afripay,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or purchase through an Afripay Sales Funnel page (a merchant-hosted offer, checkout, or thank-you page powered by our platform).
1. Information we collect
Contact and order details: name, email, phone number, billing or shipping address, and order contents you submit at checkout.
Payment information: transaction references, amount, currency, and payment status. Card and bank details are processed by our payment partners; Afripay does not store full card numbers on Funnel pages.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies or similar technologies used for security, fraud prevention, and checkout functionality.
Communications: messages you send to support regarding a Funnel purchase.
2. How we use information
Process payments, escrow holds, refunds, and delivery of purchase confirmations.
Provide the merchant with information needed to fulfil your order.
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Improve the Funnel product and buyer experience (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible).
3. Sharing with merchants and service providers
We share relevant purchase information with the merchant whose Funnel you used so they can deliver products or services. We also use trusted processors for payments (e.g. Flutterwave), hosting, email delivery, and analytics, under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we process data based on contract performance (completing your purchase), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), and legal obligations. Where consent is required for marketing, we will ask separately.
5. Retention
We retain transaction and account-related records for as long as needed to complete orders, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, and enforce our agreements. Merchants may retain data under their own policies after we share it with them.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact Afripay Support. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. International transfers
Afripay operates in and serves users across Africa and other regions. Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate, with safeguards consistent with applicable law.
9. Children
The Funnel is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
This policy applies when you choose Direct Bank Transfer on an Afripay Sales Funnel checkout and pay the seller by transferring money to a bank account they control.
1. Afripay’s role
Afripay provides the checkout page, proof upload, and notification tools. We do not receive your bank transfer. Funds move directly from your bank to the seller’s bank. Afripay is not the payment recipient and does not hold these funds in escrow.
2. Verification
After you upload proof, the seller (or their team) reviews your transfer. Afripay may display status updates but does not guarantee how quickly a seller confirms payment or delivers your order.
3. Disputes and chargebacks
Contact the seller first using the contact details on the Funnel or thank-you page.
Afripay Support (support@afripayglobal.com) can help with platform issues (missing proof, broken links) but cannot reverse a completed bank transfer to a seller’s account.
For stronger buyer protection, use Afripay Secure Escrow when offered at checkout.
4. Your responsibilities
Transfer the exact amount shown, use the seller’s account details displayed at checkout, and keep your receipt or screenshot. Incorrect account details or amounts may delay or prevent fulfilment.
This policy applies when you pay with Flutterwave (card, USSD, or other instant methods shown) on an Afripay Sales Funnel checkout.
1. Payment processing
Flutterwave processes your payment. Afripay routes you to Flutterwave’s secure flow and records the result for the merchant. Card and bank debits are subject to Flutterwave’s and your bank’s terms.
2. Instant fulfilment
When payment is marked successful, digital fulfilment (downloads, links, or access) may be shown immediately if the seller configured them. Physical or service delivery timelines are set by the merchant.
3. Chargebacks and refunds
Card chargebacks and refund requests are handled under Flutterwave and card-network rules. Afripay may assist the merchant with transaction references but does not control Flutterwave’s dispute outcomes. Contact the seller first for order issues.
4. Afripay’s role vs escrow
Instant Flutterwave checkout is not Afripay Secure Escrow. Funds are not held by Afripay pending your delivery confirmation. For held funds until you confirm receipt, choose Afripay Secure Escrow when available.
Window. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date, through official support channels only.
Eligibility. We review each request against our published refund policy. Abuse, chargebacks filed before contacting us, or duplicate accounts may be declined.
Process. Include your account email and proof of purchase. Approved refunds are returned via the same payment path where possible; timing depends on your bank or provider.
Fair use. The guarantee assumes you completed the quick-start steps in good faith. We may ask a short checklist to confirm you gave the product a reasonable try.
